Paralympics 2022: What to Watch on Day 6 in Beijing

Double medallist Neil Simpson will continue his bid for Paralympic glory on Day 6 of the Games, with debuts to come for Alex Slegg and Dan Sheen

Alpine – Men’s Giant Slalom

Neil Simpson and Guide Andrew Simpson will return to the slopes of the Yanqing National Alpine Ski Centre looking to add to their Gold and Bronze medals as the Men’s Giant Slalom competition gets udnerway. The VI category leads the day’s programme with first runs getting underway at 12:30am, and the second run set for 4:30am.

In the Standing class, James Whitley will be making his third appearance of the Games after some superb skiing earlier in the Games saw him notch his best ever Paralympic Winter Games result in the Downhill on Day 1. The first run follows the conclusion of the first VI run.

GB will also see two Paralympic debutants in the Sitting class, as Alex Slegg and Dan Sheen hit the start gate, with first runs taking place immediately after the Standing class.
