DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

GB Snowsport is committed to ensuring snowsports remain open, accepting and accessible to all sections of society. To achieve this commitment GB Snowsport considers and champions Equality, Diversity and Inclusion issues throughout all aspects of the organisation by welcoming diversity, accepting difference and challenging all forms of discrimination and unjust behaviour. GB Snowsport is committed to supporting the development of talented young athletes in an open and inclusive environment, ensuring equality of opportunity.

We will challenge discrimination, and work hard to increase the diversity of our sport.

All appropriate actions will be taken towards achieving greater diversity on the GB Snowsport Board to include representation by Black, Asian, minority ethnic (BAME) and disabled people.

gb snowsport diversity & inclusion action plan

GB Snowsport’s latest Diversity & Inclusion Action Plan, covering the period 2023-2026 takes learnings from both the Diversity & Inclusion Action Plan 2021-2023 and the recommendations of the Snowsport D&I Advisory Group to set clear objectives that further advance DB Snowsport’s ambitions in diversity and inclusion. The plan will remain under continuous review with the intention of publishing an updated D&I Action Plan after the conclusion of the Milan-Cortina Olympic and Paralympic Cycle in 2026.

The GB Snowsport Diversity & Inclusion Action Plan 2021-2023 builds on the earlier Diversity Action Plan established in 2018. The plan includes a programme of work that will champion equality, diversity and inclusion through all aspects of our organisation, welcoming diversity, accepting difference and confronting all forms of discrimination and unjust behaviour. GB Snowsport is committed to supporting the development of talented athletes in an open, inclusive environment that ensures equality of opportunity. GB Snowsport is proud to be represented by athletes, coaches, and technical and administrative staff who buy into and support these commitments.
