The 2025/26 season has marked a year of exceptional achievement for the British Children’s Ski Team, with athletes delivering a series of outstanding performances internationally. Competing against some of the strongest international fields in their respective age categories, British racers secured multiple podium finishes, underlining the depth of talent across Children’s Alpine Skiing in Britain.
The Children’s International races are widely regarded as the pinnacle of the children’s racing calendar, representing the most competitive and prestigious events for U16 and U14 Alpine athletes. Podium results at this level are a significant benchmark of excellence, placing athletes among the very best in their age category globally.
The British Children’s Ski Team’s results this season represents a commanding presence across multiple venues, disciplines and age groups and are a significant indicator of the team’s ability to compete at the highest level of Children’s Alpine Ski Racing.
ALPE CIMBRA FIS CHILDREN’S CUP, FOLGARIA
At the renowned Alpe Cimbra FIS Children’s Cup, in Folgaria, Cecilia Hamer achieved a landmark result, taking 1st place in the U14 Slalom. Against an exceptionally competitive international field, this victory stands as one of the most significant accomplishments of the season for the Children’s team.

Rufus Wontner delivered a huge performance at La Scara, in the Super G race, achieving a gold medal at the highly prestigious event, demonstrating promise for Britain across the Speed disciplines.

British athletes delivered in Ordino Arcalís, Andorra for the 34th edition of the Borrufa Trophy. Darcy Davies demonstrated impressive speed to secure 1st place in the U16 Slalom while Sylvia Curtis took 3rd place in the U14 Giant Slalom, highlighting the team’s strength across age groups internationally.

Ingemartrofén, Sweden
At the Ingemartrofén races in Tärnaby, named after the famous Alpine racer Ingemar Stenmark, Cecilia Hamer continued her exceptional run of form on the International stage, producing a series of dominant performances across multiple disciplines:
- 1st place – U14 Slalom
- 1st place – U14 Giant Slalom
- 2nd place – U14 Pro Slalom
- 1st place – U14 Overall
Sylvia Curtis also secured a further podium for Britain, finishing 3rd in the U14 Giant Slalom, capping an impressive series of international results in the Swedish venue.

British racers also excelled in Croatia at the CroSki Cup, with Edward Lloyd delivering a standout performance to take 1st place in the U16 Giant Slalom. Hattie Taylor added to the team’s success with a 3rd place finish in the U14 Giant Slalom, reinforcing the strength of the squad across both categories.

Further success ensued in Abetone, Italy, where Cecilia Hamer secured 1st place in the U14 Slalom, adding to an already outstanding season for Hamer.

Sylvia Curtis continued her consistent season with a 2nd place finish in the U14 Giant Slalom at the Interkritérium International Race, in Vratna, Slovakia demonstrating competitiveness across the circuit.

The team delivered an exceptional series of results in Bosnia & Herzegovina, with multiple podium sweeps across all disciplines and age categories. These performances underline a commanding level of consistency and depth across the squad, with British athletes securing podium finishes in every discipline.
