GB Snowsport launch search for Para Alpine guides

Exciting opportunity for Alpine skiers to join world leading Paralympic team

GB Snowsport have launched a search for the next generation of Para Alpine VI Guides, offering a new and exciting opportunity for British Alpine racers to become a part of one of the world’s most storied Para Snowsport teams.

Coming off the back of a season which saw five British Para Alpine VI skiers represent the nation in the Milan-Cortina Paralympic Winter Games, this is an exciting chance to become a critical part of a team that habitually challenges for podiums on the World Cup, World Championship, and Paralympic Winter Games stage.

What we are looking for:

  • Alpine racers who have recently retired, or are considering retirement
  • Who have achieved a FIS point total of 150 or fewer, ideally across multiple disciplines, and with confidence racing in Super G to a high level
  • Who are current British passport holders
  • Who feel they could make a positive contribution to the success and culture of the high-performing GB Snowsport Para Alpine team

If you fit the profile and want to find out more, we’d love to hear from you. Contact Head of Paralympic Programmes James Redpath on james.redpath@gbsnowsport.com with a brief biography, skiing background, and ideally a link to your FIS profile, and we’ll be in touch to answer any questions you may have.

We will be hosting UK based test sessions alongside existing members of the team this summer with a view to having new Guides integrated into the team ahead of the 2026/27 season.
