CMC Markets named presenting partner to GB Alpine Championships 2026

Announcement comes ahead of 22 March Championships opening

GB Snowsport are delighted to welcome CMC Markets as the presenting partner for the GB Alpine Championships 2026.

A long-term fixture in the British ski racing calendar, the 2026 edition of the GB Alpine Championships are set to take place from 22 March – 14 April in the Italian resort of Santa Caterina, and stand to welcome some of the most exciting upcoming and established British and international Alpine skiing talent across FIS and Children’s race programmes.

This year’s Championships sees established GB Snowsport partners CMC take an active role in supporting the event, which will see the race piste prepared by renowned Alpine race director Omar Galli and his team, who most recently had the responsibility for delivering the Alpine hill programme in Bormio for the Milano-Cortina Olympic Winter Games.

Throughout its long history, the GB Alpine Championships has seen some of Britain’s finest Alpine skiing talent walk away with National Championship titles, with past winners including Alain Baxter, Emma Carrick-Anderson, Graham Bell, Chemmy Alcott, Dave Ryding, Ed Drake, Alex Tilley and Laurie Taylor. This year’s races are expected to feature many of Britain’s most exciting Alpine skiers in a race schedule that includes full Speed, Tech, and Children’s race programmes.

The GB Alpine Championships presented by CMC open on 23 March with Downhill Training, with National Championships races scheduled for 25 March (Downhill), 26 March (Super G), 28-29 March (Giant Slalom), and 31 March (Slalom). The first races of the Children’s programme will take place on 7 April, with the Championships closing on 14 April.
