Andrew started skiing at Aberdeen Snowsport centre aged five. After family ski holidays he joined Gordon Skiers, training in Scotland at The Lecht and Glenshee.
He started racing in Scottish local races and continued with Scottish and British races at home and abroad, competing in races from U10’s category up to his first year at FIS level.
When his brother Neil was classified, Andrew stepped in to guide him in and the pair were soon regularly winning Europa Cup and World Cup medals. They were selected to the GB team for the 2021 World Championships winning silver in the Alpine Combined. They then went one better at the 2022 Winter Paralympics winning Gold in the Super-G and Bronze in the Alpine Combined.
