2026 Alpine Foundation ball to honour Dave Ryding

Limited spaces available for guests to join celebration of Britain’s greatest ever Alpine skier

The GB Alpine Foundation will be hosting a special evening of celebration to honour and mark the retirement of Dave Ryding, Britain’s greatest ever Alpine skier, on 3 October 2026 in London. Presenting an opportunity to celebrate Dave’s career and his impact on British snowsport, the event will also serve as an important fundraising occasion for the GB Alpine Foundation as it continues to build support for the current and next generations of world class British Alpine skiers.

Guests will be joined throughout the vening by current and former GB Alpine athletes, and tickets include a champagne drinks reception, a formal three-course dinner and wine, and a charity aucton in aid of the GB Alpine Foundation.

Launched in October 2024 as a means to provide supporters of British Alpine skiing with a way to directly impact the efforts of Britain’s high-performance Alpine skiing team and the sport’s most promising young British talent, the GB Alpine Foundation works closely with the GB Snowsport Alpine Discipline Committee and the GB Snowsport Board of Directors to boost British Alpine prospects at a time where the country boasts some of the world’s most dynamic Alpine talent.

This is a rare opportunity to spend the evening in close company with Britain’s greatest ever Alpine skier at what promises to be a memorable send-off.
