What to Watch on Day 13 In Beijing

It’s time for the Men’s Slalom, as Britain’s Flag Bearer steps into the fray, while the Cross-Country squad return for the Team Sprint Classic

Alpine – Men’s Slalom

Dave Ryding and Billy Major are set for their Beijing bow as the Men’s Slalom takes place overnight. On a slope which has seen pre-competition favourites fail to get to grips with the conditions in earlier races, Ryding and Major will face their first run at 2:15am UK time, with the second run following at 5:45am for those who qualify.

For Ryding, the race will mark his fourth Olympic Winter Games appearance having finished 27th, 17th and 9th in the Slalom in Vancouver, Sochi and PyeongChang respectively. Major, meanwhile, will be making his Olympic debut with the 25-year-old notched the first World Cup points of his career in the last race before the Games, where he finished 18th in Schladming.
