BCST Management Team Updates
GBS are pleased to announce the appointments of Rob Bullen as BCST Head Coach, and Joe Constantine as BCST Team Manager, as volunteers Mark VInter and Juliet Foster step down from their respective roles.
Rob founded Excel Race Academy in 2018 after a successful career both as an athlete and a coach. He worked his way onto the Home Nations Programmes, the British Development Team, then finally onto the British Senior Team. He achieved numerous international podiums and national titles including British Slalom Champion. In 2013, he hung up his race boots to work full-time as a ski race coach at Ambition Racing, before founding Excel.
Joe has worked full-time as a coach with a European based academy fo rthe past four years, most recently as Head Coach of the academy’s children’s team and Programme Director. Previous to this, Joe attained a 1st class honours degree in Sport and Exercise Science while coaching in the SSW pathway programmes. In earlier years, Joe competed as an Alpine racer and achieved Welsh Squad status. He is now SSW Lead Pathway Coach and Development Manager.
GBS would like to thank Juliet Foster and Mark Vinter for their dedication and contribution to British Children’s skiing over the past years. In their roles, Juliet and Mark have provided invaluable opportunities to U16 and U14 British racers to compete at international level, nurturing the next generation of Alpine talent. GBS are grateful for their support, and will continue to work with both Juliet and Mark in their roles on the Alpine Discipline Committee, and Juliet in her role as the GBS representative on the GBS Alpine Foundation.
