GB Snowsport mourns the loss of former squad athlete Mathi Avent

We are devastated to learn of the passing of former GB Snowsport athlete Mathi Avent.

A widely respected and much-loved member of the Alpine and Ski Cross teams, Mathi represented Britain with distinction and dedication over many years in FIS, World Junior Championships, and Europa Cup competitions.

Everyone at GB Snowsport is deeply saddened by Mathi’s passing; our thoughts, and the thoughts of the snowsport community, are with Mathi’s friends and loved ones at this difficult time.
