New partnership confirmed as 2025/26 season gets underway
GB Snowsport is delighted to welcome Maison Sport as an official sponsor of our Alpine Men’s World Cup team, supporting Dave Ryding, Billy Major and Laurie Taylor as they take on the 2025/26 World Cup Circuit and prepare for the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.
Maison Sport, founded by former British Ski Team athletes Nick Robinson, Olly Robinson and Aaron Tipping, brings a long-standing passion for British snowsport to the partnership. Their deep connection to the sport and commitment to supporting British athletes, from grassroots development through to elite competition, makes them an ideal partner for GB Snowsport at a pivotal moment in our Olympic cycle.
Maison Sport is a leading platform for skiers seeking high-quality instruction across Europe. Maison Sport connects you directly with expert ski instructors in over 430 resorts in Europe. Whether it’s improving individual performance, exploring off-piste terrain or having a personal mountain guide, Maison Sport makes finding the right instructor easy and personal.
Reflecting on the partnership, Nick Robinson, CEO and Co-Founder of Maison Sport, said:
“As a former member of the British Ski Team, I understand all too well the dedication and hard work required to compete at this level. This is a full circle partnership for us, from Ski Team to GB Snowsport Sponsor.
The sponsorship will play a key role in supporting GB Snowsport’s Alpine World Cup programme, providing essential resources for the slalom team’s preparations as they look to build on recent successes and deliver strong performances throughout the upcoming season.
British Alpine skier Laurie Taylor, who will be supported through the partnership, added:
“Maison Sport will be backing our training and our journey all the way to Milano Cortina 2026, and we can’t wait to get started. Everything we do in the summer helps build towards the winter and helps us to be in the best shape possible when the racing starts.
Their technology connects skiers with the best instructors in Europe and the same principles apply to our training. The right coach, the right focus and the right support takes you much further than you think you can go.”
GB Snowsport CEO Vicky Gosling OBE also welcomed the announcement:
“We are extremely excited to welcome Maison Sport as a partner. Their founders’ personal connection to British skiing and their commitment to the sport’s development is a perfect fit for our organisation. Their support will make a real difference to the resources available to our Alpine team as they prepare for a busy World Cup season with the 2026 Olympic Winter Games on the horizon.”
This partnership represents a significant boost for Britain’s Alpine athletes and reinforces our shared ambition to elevate British skiing on the global stage. We look forward to working closely with Maison Sport through the season ahead.
