Milan-Cortina Games veterans return for new season
We are pleased to confirm eleven athletes have been selected to the GB Snowsport Para World Cup squads for the 2026/27 season.
In Para Alpine, 2026 Paralympic Winter Games medallist Neil Simpson is selected alongside Menna Fitzpatrick, Hester Poole, and Sam Cozens, with Rob Poth, Sarah Woodward, and Ali Hall selected as team guides. All aside from Sarah Woodward are returning squad members after successful Para Alpine campaigns last season, while Woodward marks her first entry to the team, having previously represented the nation as an Alpine racer on the Europa Cup circuit, and at World Championships and World Junior Championships levels.
In Para Snowboard, four athletes are selected into the World Cup squad, with returning World Cup squad members Matt Hamilton, Ollie Hill, and Nina Sparks joined by Davy Zyw who made history at the Milano-Cortina Paralympic Winter Games in March.
Announcing the selections, GB Snowsport Head of Paralympic Programmes James Redpath said:
“After some strong showings last season, we’re pleased to welcome back a strong Para contingent for the 2026/27 season. In both Para Alpine and Para Snowboard, Britain has a strong blend of experience, success, and high-potential, and we will be looking to all of those different attributes to drive performances on and off snow this season.
“Every athlete named to these squads deserves congratulations for their dedication and commitment to their disciplines, and we look forward to seeing all of them push themselves at the highest levels this year.”
