Cardrona to welcome stacked Halfpipe World Cup field
Freeski Halfpipe contest brings representation in Men’s and Women’s fields
The second of New Zealand’s two early-season World Cup contests will this weekend see Freeski Halfpipe action take to the resort of Cardrona.
British interest will come from Zoe Atkin in the women’s field and from Liam Richards in the men’s competition, the latter making his debut under the British flag, having previously represented New Zealand.
The competition is one of six scheduled Halfpipe World Cups this season, with Secret Garden (CHN), Copper Mountain (USA), Aspen x 2 (USA), and Calgary (CAN) scheduled to host the remainder of the series between early December and mid February, and marks the beginning of the Halfpipe field’s Milan-Cortina 2026 qualification campaign.
