Scott has loved serval sports from athletics, rugby to skiing which he started at 3 years old at the snowdome in Tamworth to go on family holidays. From there went into alpine racing before turning to ski cross at 14 which instantly became his passion.

In January 2020 Scott competed at the Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne, Switzerland, placing 11th. Then between 2021-2023 trained in Canada competing at Nor-am and Europa Cup races as well as winning the 2023 World University Games in Lake Placid. He has also competed in three World Junior Championships reaching big final on two occasions and made his World Championships debut in 2025.
