Ollie learnt to ski on annual holidays to France from a young age. At the age of 8 his family moved to France and a hobby became a passion when he joined the local French club (Montchavin Les Coches) and started alpine racing. For many years Ollie raced locally, in the Tartantaise region and at the French Nationals. He started participating at the British Championships from age 14 and was selected for the British alpine squad.

Ski cross has always been a passion for Ollie, following a top of the podium finish in the U16 French Championship and victory at The BRITS in 2017. Early in the 2017/18 season Ollie broke through for a FIS podium against strong opposition before upping his game for a Europa Cup third place just after his World Cup debut.

The 2018/19 season started with a pair of Australia-New Zealand Cup victories in Australia which set Ollie up perfectly to become Junior World Champion in New Zealand.

Ollie to became the first Brit to compete in the Big Final at a Ski Cross World Championship in February 2021, where he placed 4th.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT SKI CROSS

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT SKI CROSS

"What sets ski cross apart from other alpine skiing disciplines is that there is more than one skier racing down the course. I love the adrenaline and excitement of head to head racing. Anything can happen in such an unpredictable sport."
