It’s the turn of the Halfpipe Freeskiers, as Gus Kenworthy and Zoe Atkin prepare to enter the Beijing 2022 Games
Women’s Freeski Halfpipe
Zoe Atkin, the younger sister of 2018 Games bronze medallist Izzy Atkin, will make her Olympic debut in the Women’s Freeski Halfpipe qualifers early tomorrow morning. Atkin, who has three top-10 finishes from three World Cup competitions this season, will be looking to add to a proud record in the world’s biggest competitions, which includes two World Cup and one World Championships podium in recent years. Her first run gets underway at 1:30am.

Men’s Freeski Halfpipe
2014 silver medallist Gus Kenworthy will make his long-awaited Team GB debut in the Men’s Freeski Halfpipe qualifiers, having switched representation from the USA between Olympic cycles. Kenworthy, who has struggled this season with the impacts of covid and injury recovery, is among the most decorated names in a strong Halfpipe field, and has stated his intention to deliver the best possible performance in Team GB colours. He gets underway with a first run at 4:30am.
