Telemark victory for Taylor in Melchsee-Frutt

Second victory of 2025/26 season comes in Parallel Sprint World Cup

Jaz Taylor recorded her second World Cup victory and third podium of the 2025/26 season with a vintage Parallel Sprint performance in the Swiss resort of Melchsee-Frutt today.

Having qualified in second spot, Taylor displayed her trademark speed, technical discipline, and race acumen to beat out the competition and secure victory ahead of the French 2-3 pairing Camille Bourbon and Laly Chaucheprat.

The win marks a sixth career Parallel Slalom World Cup victory for 32-year-old Taylor and her second in Melchsee-Frutt, having also taken victory on the same course almost exactly a year ago to the day.

Taylor, the reigning overall Telemark Crystal Globe holder, now sits second in the overall rankings after six World Cup contests this season, which have yielded three podiums.
