Jaz Taylor added another Sprint podium at a thrilling race in Trillevallen
Jaz Taylor added the sixth podium of a remarkable season at today’s Trillevallen Telemark Sprint World Cup with a battling third place finish.
Fresh off a fourth place in the preceding day’s races, Taylor’s bronze medal finish came behind the French pair of Laly Chaucheprat in first and Angeline Tan Bouquet in second, with the Brit’s time of 1:48.59 putting her just 2.60s off first place.
Taylor now boasts six podiums from eight World Cup races this season and stands top of the overall Telemark World Cup standings, 50 points clear of second placed Tan Bouquet, while she also tops the Sprint standings with Chaucheprat 44 points behind her.
The Telemark circuit next moves to the Norwegian resort of Al for races across 14-16 February, before a break until early March.
