Telemark star takes second podium of the week
Jaz Taylor secured a second podium of the 2025 Telemark World Championships with bronze in the Classic discipline, banking a sixth career World Championships podium in the process.
Having qualified in first place, Taylor’s finishing time of 2:04.25 was enough to take third spot behind Johanna Holzmann of Germany in first and France’s Argeline Tan Bouquet who secured silver.
The result marks Taylor’s third Classic discipline bronze at World Championships level, and means she has now taken two medals at back-to-back World Championships having first achieved the feat in Murren in 2023.
Attention now turns to the final Telemark races of the World Cup season in Thyon 4 Vallees, where Taylor will be battling to defend the Crystal Globe title she won last season, and where she currently holds a 115 point advantage over Tan Bouquet in second place.
