Ryding and Major take top-20s

Dave Ryding and Billy Major both secured top-20 finishes at the Wengen World Cup on another encouraging weekend for the Men’s slalom team.

With Ryding in 10th spot and Major in 16th at the turn, the pair ended up with 12th and 18th place finishes respectively, with Major’s result marking his fourth World Cup top-20 and second of the season following the Gurgl Slalom in November, while Ryding marked his third top-20 of the 2023/24 season, and his joint second-best result in Wengen.

Guest grabs EC podium in Zell Am See

Charlie Guest took her first Europa Cup podium since 2021 with an excellent third place finish at the first of a weekend Slalom double header in Zell am Seem, which saw Latvia’s Dzenifera Germane top the standings on both days of action. Other British interest across the weekend came from Reece Bell and Abi Bruce, the latter in her first EC appearance of the season.
