Clean Sport Week 2026: Reaffirming our commitment to clean sport
As Clean Sport Week 2026 gets underway, we are proud to reaffirm our commitment to clean sport and to the integrity and safety that comes with it.
16-year-old Sandra Caune added Britain’s second snowsport medal at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Bakuriani with a bronze-medal winning performance in Women’s Freeski Slopestyle.
Sitting in sixth spot after the first run, Caune’s second run score of 80.00 put her comfortably into third place 9.25 points clear of Mariia Aniichyn in fourth, and just 2.5 points shy of Denmark’s Silje Kinkead in second. Gold was won by Simona Revjagin of Estonia with a second run 86.00, having also put down the highest scoring first run.
Caune’s bronze follows the gold medal secured by Freddy Carrick-Smith in the Boys’ Alpine Giant Slalom on Monday, and shows the high potential in Britain’s young snowsport ranks.
