Sandra Caune followed Bronze in the EYOF Girls’ Freeski Slopestyle with Big Air Gold in Bakuriani this morning in another display of her exceptional promise.
Having sailed through the qualification round in top spot, Caune dominated Finals, putting down the highest scoring jumps in both the first and second rounds of the competition to finish with a combined score of 170.50, 24.75 points clear of her nearest rival, Estonia’s Simona Revjagin.
Caune emerges from Bakuriani as Britain’s first double snowsport medallist of the 2025 EYOF Games, with her profile as one of Britain’s rising Freeski stars firmly enhanced.
