Alpine World Junior Championships squad confirmed
14 athletes set to compete at Championships in Tarvisio
Zoe Atkin claimed a share of the Freeski Halfpipe Crystal Globe with second place at a hard-fought Halfpipe World Cup in Calgary.
Atkin’s Silver meant she and China’s Li Fanghui shared an identical record across the season leading to both athletes receiving overall season title honours.
In Calgary, Atkin showed much of the style and boldness which has characterised her season to date, landing a high score of 87.75 to sit 2.75 points behind Li, and just 0.75 clear of Canada’s Rachael Karkar in third.
Atkin’s season World Cup record sits at three podiums from five World Cup competitions, with two Silvers and a Gold in her last three contests, and World Championships to follow next month in St Moritz.
