Jamie was born in Scotland but has lived in Switzerland from a young age. He learnt to ski at his local small ski hill in the Swiss Jura mountains and at the age of eleven he started telemarking with his dad. In the 2022-2023 season he started to train with the GB squad and participated in a few races. This year he hopes to be able to join the World Cup squad and learn from the senior team members.
