Hester began her skiing journey on the dry slope at Mendip at the age of 7, and quickly progressed to racing at Gloucester. At 9 she joined the Outspan Rebels and first raced internationally aged 12 with her brother Benjie as her guide. Teaming up with Ali Hall, Hester’s 2023 season was her most successful yet, gaining enough points to be selected to the GBS Para Alpine World Cup Squad.

Alongside skiing, Hester is current studying for her A levels and applying for university, while her passions away from the slopes include books, Choral singing, and her Guide Dog, Pickle.

Hester is a keen advocate for social change and disability rights, holding youth ambassadorships for Charities Ethiopiaid and Guide Dogs for the Blind.
