Charlie began snowboarding at the age of five and has progressed rapidly through the ranks of the British system.

After making his FIS debut in 2020, Charlie had a major breakthrough in 2023 taking two podiums at the European Youth Olympic Festival with silver in Big Air and gold in Slopestyle. His World Cup debut followed soon after, recording a top-30 finish at the Silvaplana World Cup in Slopestyle.
