Injury Update: Emily Rothney
Freestyle Snowboarder undergoes surgery following ACL injury
Earlier this week, Freestyle Snowboard World Cup squad member Emily Rothney sustained a knee injury which scans confirmed as a torn ACL.
The 17-year-old has undergone surgery, and will now commence a rehabilitation programme aimed at returning her to snow as soon as possible.
Everyone at GB Snowsport wishes Emily all the best in her recovery, and we will be working closely with her and medical practitioners to support her over the coming weeks and months.
