GB Snowsport announces ainslie + ainslie as official recovery supplements partner

Athletes and support team to be provided with Informed Sport approved ainslie + ainslie Night Powder

GB Snowsport is delighted to announce ainslie + ainslie as its official recovery supplements supplier for the 2025/26 season. Ahead of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games next year, the national governing body for elite snowsports in the UK has partnered with the performance supplement brand to support with the rest and recovery of its athletes and wider team at this crucial time.

Founded by broadcaster and entrepreneur Georgie Ainslie and Sir Ben Ainslie, the most successful Olympic sailor of all time, ainslie + ainslie operates at the forefront of recovery supplementation, with its products developed by elite sports scientists using natural, evidence-backed ingredients. Launched in 2024 after three years of development, NIGHT POWDER features a combination of ingredients including montmorency tart cherry powder, affron saffron and magnesium to support rest, relaxation and recovery.

Through the partnership, GB Snowsport’s athletes and support team will be provided with the Informed Sport approved ainslie + ainslie NIGHT POWDER, as they prepare to compete at the highest levels of international snowsport.

Claire Williams, GB Snowsport Head of Sport Sciences and Medicine said: “The demands placed on our athletes each season is incredibly high, and as a result, targeted recovery is one of the most important tools in our arsenal when it comes to supporting them to compete to their potential week in, week out. Through this partnership, we are delighted to be able to elevate our athlete recovery support with the backing of the team at ainslie + ainslie.”

Founder of ainslie + ainslie, Georgie Ainslie, said: “We are super proud to be supporting GB Snowsport in its upcoming Winter Olympic and Paralympic campaign. When Ben and I created ainslie + ainslie, it was on the ethos that everyone can benefit from the way elite sport teams use supplementation, and that’s why this partnership will not only supply NIGHT POWDER for the GB Snowsport athletes, but for all of the team behind the scenes as they embark on a huge year ahead. Rest and recovery is key to allowing everyone to perform at their best, and we are thrilled to be able to support GB Snowsport with that aspect of its campaign.”

GB Snowsport is responsible for a mammoth 12 disciplines, including freestyle ski and snowboard, alpine, ski cross and parasnowboarding. The wide range of disciplines means the organisation has many athletes with many different needs, but one aspect that is crucial for them all is rest and recovery.

Speaking to Georgie Ainslie on the Performance People podcast, in partnership with J.P. Morgan Private Bank, GB Snowsport CEO Vicky Gosling OBE said NIGHT POWDER would be key to the team ahead of a big year.

“This is something fundamentally that we need,” Gosling said.

“For us heading into the Olympics and Paralympics, and everything else that we do in between, we need to ensure that we’ve got the right supplements, we need to make sure that we’ve got products like this that can actually help us.”

The World Cup season is now officially underway, with the next World Cup competitions scheduled for Stubai (Freeski Slopestyle) and Gurgl (Alpine Slalom) this weekend.
