Madi has been skiing since she was a toddler on family ski holidays and she soon began to follow her older brother Mike, through the ski park. This was where she discovered that she was a little bit crazy and loved the extreme side of the sport. She quickly progressed and began to enter competitions on dry slopes back in the UK.

In 2010, Madi competed in her first British Championships, in 2011 and 2012 she took home gold in all four of her age category events and in 2013 won the overall women’s slopestyle event.

Madi’s impressive results enabled her to progress to the England freestyle squad and in 2014 she became the youngest member of the British Freeski team; representing GB in both Slopestyle and Halfpipe.

At the Youth Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer, 2016 Madi triumphed in Ladies’ Ski Halfpipe where she won the gold medal and made history by being the first ever Team GB athlete to win a Youth Olympic Games medal!
