Jamie started snowboarding when he was 7 years old at Halifax Ski and Snowboard centre. By 9, Jamie could already do front flips and backside 900s. By 13 years old, he was already considered one of the best UK snowboarders.

Since 2009 Jamie has travelled the globe, competing in Big Air, Slopestyle, and rail contests. His goals are to film good snowboard video parts, get on the cover of snowboard magazines, and achieve the podium at the main competitions.

He finished in 6th place at the Sochi Winter Olympic Games in 2014 and won his first ever World Cup victory in Spindleruv Mlyn, Czech Republic, 2016.

Outside of snowboarding, Jamie is into climbing and skateboarding. When Jamie is at home in the UK, he snowboards as much as he can at the snowcentre in Hemel Hempstead and trains at Edge Gyms in Leeds.
